Laura and Donn’s wedding in Kilkenny, the Marble City, was a lively and unforgettable celebration from start to finish. The day kicked off with groom prep as Donn and his groomsmen strolled down to Kieran Street for a traditional hot shave at the Authentic Turkish Barber. Amid the shaving cream and razors, the atmosphere was filled with banter and laughter, setting the tone for what was clearly going to be a fun-filled day.
After capturing the antics with the boys, I made my way to Langtons Hotel, where the ladies were preparing in a much more serene and calm setting. Laura, ever the efficient bride, was ready to go well ahead of schedule, so much so that she was on her way to the church before some of the guests had even arrived! With a little time to spare, she enjoyed a cheeky tipple from her “something borrowed” hip flask, adding a lighthearted moment to her bridal prep.
The ceremony at St. John’s Church was a beautiful affair, filled with love and emotion. When Donn finally kissed his bride, you could see the excitement on his face, and it was clear that everyone in attendance felt the magic of the moment.
After family photos, we whisked the bridal party around town to capture some truly unique shots in Kilkenny’s scenic spots. The fun didn’t stop there—Laura and Donn’s grand entrance into the dining room was nothing short of spectacular, reminiscent of a World Wrestling event with energy that left their guests cheering and in awe.
As the night continued, the newlyweds hit the dance floor, surrounded by their family and friends, dancing the night away in celebration of their love.
